Mr. Dairy and Food Distributing Ltd. is a family business with roots in the milk delivery business for over 45 years, dating back to the days of home milk deliveries. In the early 1960s, one of the founders of Mr. Dairy, Arpad Szabo Sr., took a job to be a milkman. At the time, Arpad never would have dreamt that he would still be involved in the milk industry in the new millennium. In fact, his passion for the milk industry grew his business from a one truck home delivery Sealtest milk route in Rosedale to a fleet of over twenty trucks that deliver dairy products across the Greater Toronto Area. Of course Arpad Sr. did not do this alone.

In the 1990s Arpad Sr. got his son-in-law Mark Geertsema and his son Arpad Szabo Jr involved in the milk business and together, they created Mr. Dairy & Food Distributing Ltd. Mark and Arpad Jr. became the president and the vice-president respectively. In 2001, Margie Kneeshaw, Arpad Sr.’s daughter, joined the team to run the family business alongside her other family members.

Since its incorporation in 1995, Mr. Dairy and Food Distributing Ltd. has grown from a business primarily concerned with milk deliveries, to a distribution business that encompasses all dairy products like butter, cheese, yogurt and ice cream but also many kinds of water and a vast line of assorted beverages. Currently Mr. Dairy carries over 1200 products and has a customer base of over 1500 clients. Mr. Dairy has come a long way from its early days. Through hard work and the cooperation of its ownership, management and dedicated employees, Mr. Dairy continues to grow and succeed in its endeavours.
